(EPS).
The NHS Electronic Prescription Service allows your GP
practice to send prescriptions electronically, so there is no need of using a paper
prescription. This cuts down the number of visits you pay to your GP’s office just
to collect a paper script when you need a repeat prescription to get your
medicine.
To allow your GP to send prescription electronically, you
must nominate a pharmacy first. The electronic prescription service can be used
for repeat prescription as well as single prescription. The pharmacy you
nominate will collect your electronic prescription on the behalf of you from
your GP.
In the UK, many GPs and pharmacies offer the NHS Electronic
Prescription Service. Your prescriptions will be sent electronically to your

means there is no need to visit your GP to collect a paper prescription when
